Dak has completed comprehensive DNA health screening through Wisdom Panel, along with OFA evaluations for hips, patellas, cardiac, and eyes.

Color & Genetics

Dak is a Blue & Tan French Bulldog with two copies of the dilution gene (d/d), two copies of the melanistic mask gene (Em/Em), and one copy of the Cocoa gene (B/co).
 

Because Dak carries two copies of the dilution gene, he will pass a dilute allele to every puppy, making him capable of producing dilute offspring when paired with females carrying compatible color genetics.
 

Dak also carries the Cocoa gene, allowing him to introduce Cocoa into a breeding program when paired appropriately. His DNA profile makes him an interesting option for breeders working toward blue, blue & tan, and other dilute-based color combinations, depending on the genetics of the female.
